TWIC Enrollment Center Updates

Kodiak Enrollment

The Anchorage fixed enrollment center is open for business.  It is located at 619 E. Ship Creek Ave. Hours 8:00a-4:30p.

The Juneau fixed enrollment center is open for business.  It is located next to the "Bone & Joint" clinic building at 3200 Hospital Drive.  Hours: 8:00a-5:00p.

The Kodiak mobile enrollment center has been open since May 5.  It is located in the Shelikof KPD satellite office at 405 Marine Way (next to the Harbor Office).  Hours: 8:00a-4:30p.

Note: This mobile center will close on June 6 and there are currently no plans for it to return (other than to activate cards applied for during this visit).  It is very important that Kodiak TWIC enrollees take advantage of this site while it's there - otherwise you'll be rquired to visit Anchorage for your enrollment and card activation!

The Sitka mobile enrollment center will open on May 19 and will close on May 30 (2 weeks).  It will be located at Harrigan Centennial Hall.  The operating hours for this site have been designed to make it easier for the charter fleet and other tourism-related enrollees to take advantage of the center.  Note: This center will be open on Memorial Day.

Hours: Mon-Tues 8:00a-5:00p  Wed-Fri  12:00p-9:00p

Please visit the TWIC WEBSITE periodically and search the "Schedule" for Sitka.  Once it's active (anticipate it being activated on May 16) you will be able to pre-enroll and make an appointment (highly encouraged!)
Pending TWIC Enrollment Centers

The Valdez and Nikiski fixed enrollment center start-up dates have not been officially released.  Enrollees in these areas should anticipate them opening in June.  Stay tuned for more info!

The following communites are still scheduled for mobile enrollment centers (listed in the anticipated order of opening):

Anchorage-based deployment: Cordova (anticipate 2 weeks in early to mid June), Dutch Harbor (anticipate 2 weeks in late June).

Juneau-based deployment: Petersburg (anticipate 2 weeks in early June), Craig (anticipate 1 week in mid June), Ketchikan (anticipate 5 weeks in mid June to late July), Skagway (anticipate 1 week in late July).

Note: We are still working with Lockheed Martin to provide limited mobile enrollment in Wrangell and Haines.  This will likely require a few days to be trimmed from Petersburg and Skagway (respectively).  For this reason, it will be critical that enrollees in these communities make appointments to ensure the most efficient use of these centers.  I will send updates as more information is received concerning the above centers.
