MARITIME SECURITY REGULATIONS FINAL RULES
In May 2004 and in December 2003, the U.S. Coast Guard published Navigation and Vessel Inspection Circulars, NVICs, and amendments to these NVICs, which provide guidance on the implementation of the Maritime Security Regulations for vessels, shoreside facilities, outer continental shelf installations and Area Maritime Security Plans required for U.S. Ports.
