Expanding coverage for peace of mind<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
To supplement available radio communications and fill coverage gaps, MXAK\u00a0 has been building out VHF capabilities in strategic locations across the state. To date, we have installed 25 Jotron radios that allow us to hear radio traffic and relay critical information to the U.S. Coast Guard. We also serve as a broadcast center to share pertinent information to mariners. Our system has helped save lives and the build out continues.<\/div><\/div>
