ALASKA CHADUX NETWORK

The Marine Exchange of Alaska operates a 24/7 vessel monitoring center to provide Alternative Planning Criteria (APC) monitoring for the Alaska Chadux Network (Network). The Network is an Alaska-based non-profit organization that provides vessel owners and operators with best management practices and support in complying with federal tank and non-tank oil pollution prevention regulations. MXAK’s monitoring center plays an instrumental role in aiding vessels’ compliance with the Network’s APC risk-mitigating routing measures, processing of deviations, and relaying information to the U.S. Coast Guard and other responders in case of an emergency.
